Jamal El Kuweiss
My online repository.
Hey!
This is the central point of my online footprint. I try to keep it updated with all the things I want to share.
Socials
My usage of content-focused socials is sporadic and unreliable.
If you want to connect, I prefer it to be through direct messages or community group chats.
You can contact me on Matrix
or
SimpleX
(this is not an endorsement, I am just trying it out).
A good rule of thumb is to not send me anything that you would not be willing to share with a stranger.
I also share some of what I am currently reading on my BookWyrm profile. BookWyrm is an open-source community project. I encourage you to use it over the competition and maybe even contribute to the code!
Projects
- Many-Ion Saha Solver: I wrote this program as part of an internship, but I still maintain it every now and then. If you are studying solar models, specifically ionization and element density profiles, this could be a useful tool. Given solar photosphere profile - usually constitued of a list of temperatures and elemental population numbers (hydrogen, helium,...) for every radius R away from the centre of the Sun, you can use this tool to calculate, at every R, the exact ionized population number of each element, taking into account the amount of free flowing electrons from the entire system. If you want to collaborate on expanding this code (breaking the density assumption for example), don't hesitate to contact me :)
